When your systems hit a wall, we build the way through.
Custom web applications and healthcare integration that give smart businesses an unfair advantage — more performance, rock-solid reliability and lower running costs. Connecting healthcare applications with HL7 and FHIR since 1990.
Custom software that pays for itself
We build and deliver custom web applications that give smart businesses improved efficiency and lower costs — the kind of edge your competitors can't buy off the shelf. People turn to us when they've hit a wall with their existing systems and need more performance, rock-solid reliability and lower running costs to support growth and higher profits.
What sets us apart is a pragmatic approach: the simplest solution to the most complex problems. No gold-plating, no unnecessary re-platforming — engineering that solves the actual problem and keeps solving it for years.
- System integration — connecting the applications your business already runs, reliably and at scale
- Custom healthcare software — clinical systems design, registers and portals built for Australian healthcare
- HL7 interface & FHIR development — messaging, APIs and interoperability engineered since 1990
- High-performance data platforms — built on InterSystems IRIS and IRIS for Health
Connect clinical systems
Hospital, pathology and radiology systems integration — HL7 v2, FHIR, secure file and API interfaces that clinicians and auditors can rely on.
Registers that scale nationally
Cancer registers, chronic disease registers and screening platforms — designed, built and operated with population-scale reliability.
Data you can act on
SNOMED CT, LOINC and OMOP/OHDSI-aligned data models that make your clinical data research-ready and AI-ready.
The National Cancer Screening Register
Under contract to Telstra Health, Global Integration designed, built, delivered and maintains all external connection interfaces for the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) — the national platform supporting Australia's cervical and bowel cancer screening programs.
Every pathway from the central register to the outside world runs through interfaces we engineered: pathology laboratories across the country, Medicare, OCR and scanning systems, mail house fulfilment, and the client access portal.
We have been engaged on the NCSR continuously for ten years — since its inception. That's what long-haul reliability looks like in national health infrastructure.
InterSystems developers, in depth
As an InterSystems Solution Partner, we build our software product solutions on the platform trusted by health systems worldwide. Our engineers work with InterSystems technology daily — not as generalists, but as specialists who've shipped national-scale systems on it.
Every capability of these platforms — high-performance data management, interoperability, analytics and machine learning — flows directly into the solutions we deliver for you.
Why it matters to your project
- Proven at national scale — the same platform underpinning the NCSR interfaces we run
- One platform, fewer moving parts — database, integration engine and analytics in a single stack means lower cost and higher reliability
- Healthcare-native — HL7, FHIR and terminology services are first-class citizens, not bolt-ons
- Direct partner access — as InterSystems partners we escalate straight to the source when it counts
Pragmatic. Proven. Permanent.
Start with the wall you've hit
We dig into the system that's holding you back — performance, reliability, cost — and identify the simplest intervention that removes the constraint. Sometimes that's an interface. Sometimes it's a rebuild. We'll tell you straight.
The simplest solution that works
Complex problems don't need complex solutions — they need correct ones. Forty years of delivery has taught us that simple systems are the ones still running a decade later.
Stay for the long haul
We don't ship and vanish. Ten years on the NCSR says it best: we design, build, deliver and maintain. Your system's reliability is our reputation.
